The trip will begin early in the morning. We’ll traverse the High Atlas and arrive at the Tizi N’Tichka pass, Morocco’s highest road crossing at 2260 meters. It connects Marrakech to the Saharan areas, with Ouarzazate serving as a crossroads. We’ll make a pit stop in Ait Ben Haddou, a historic walled city. The Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has served as the setting for several films, including The Diamond of the Nile, Lawrence of Arabia, The Jewel of the Nile, and many other international productions.
When we get to Ouarzazate, we will go to the Kasbah of Taourirt, which was built in the 17th century and was characterized as the pearl of the region by Henri Terrasse. Ouarzazate has calmed down in the shadow of its palm trees, leaving behind a stony expanse scoured by all of the Sahara’s winds. In the summer, the temperature may easily exceed 45 degrees Celsius, and just nearby, one can enjoy the snow-capped peaks of the High Atlas…
The oasis and mountains surrounding Ouarzazate are filled with natural treasures. The Kasbahs magnificent architectural relics with adobe walls and enormous towers will take you to a realm where time has stopped…
